G. Meador Jr.
A graduate from Texas Tech University in 1984 with a degree in Finance and Real Estate. Meador spent approximately 8 years in the banking industry working for National Bancshares in San Antonio and Texas Commerce Bancshares and First City Bank in Houston. During his tenure he worked as an internal bank examiner and an asset manager that oversaw a portfolio of raw land, office buildings, industrial buildings and mixed used facilities which totaled in excess of $ 125
Million dollars. Meador handled the marketing, leasing, management and asset disposition of this portfolio for several years. In addition, Meador has retained his Texas commercial real estate license since 1989.
In 1992, Meador co founded A-1 Striping & Paving Company a paving and general contracting company specializing in site work, utilities, paving, tilt wall and concrete foundations. Meador is co-owner with long time friend Chris Janse who started this company from their own garages. During 2000 A-1 was sold to a investment group made up of Sander Morris and Harris and Falcon Seaboard after growing the company to 80+ employees and in excess of $ 9 million in revenues. Meador has been retained as the investment group and is the acting President and CEO. Meador and Janse still retain approximately half of the common stock.
With a continued love for Real Estate development Meador and Janse partnered up with long friend Robert Cranshaw and started Pinnacle Alliance Fund in 1995. PAF specializes in the development of all aspects of commercial real estate ranging from office, retail, industrial, and single tenant buildings. PAF offers a complete array of development plans ranging from land purchase, lease negotiations, financing and design and construction.
In addition, to Pinnacle Meador has started several other company’s Citadel Luxury Homes a custom home building company focusing in the Memorial area and PrimeCo Fence company which specializes in wrought iron, wood, chain link and other speciality fencing.
Born in Austin, Texas but raised in Houston, Texas Meador currently married for 17 years and has 4 daughters ranging from 10 to 15. He is active with with the local MS Society and Crisis Pregnancy Center. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and cycling. |
